Update          7/13/08

Just a short update for all of you.  Sam Davis will be speaking on Saturday, July 19 at our meeting and Jim Matatal will be speaking on Sunday.  There will be a bar-b-que on Saturday.  I am asking a donation for eating - beats buying lunch at a fast food place/the food is much better.  Also, after a brief meeting of the regular participants to this meeting, we will be attempting to adopt some rules and regulations for the common-law court in the hopes that in the near future we can hear court cases for sovereigns.

Hope to see you all at the meeting - please rsvp if possible to samuelav@hotmail.com so I know how many donuts to buy.  See you soon.  Sami

Update          5/21/08

Hello Everyone:  Our meeting was held this last weekend, May 17 and 18 – and it was, as always, exceptional – informative, enlightening and fun.

We saw some new faces and welcomed them into our “family”, and the “regulars” were here also.  The backbone of our teaching staff gave us information that we all can use; both in our search for freedom and our research for enlightenment.

The meetings for the balance of this year (where did it go) will be as follows:

July 19 – 20 (Saturday & Sunday) We will have a bar-b-que on Saturday – my husband has agreed to cook carne asada for us and to insure we cover the cost we are asking for a $20.00 donation toward lunch.  There will be lots of side dishes and plenty of food.  As always with our group, do not let lack of funds keep you from attending – we never turn anyone away – but if you have the ability to help with the costs, we ask that you do so.  I will update this site relative to speakers as we get closer to the date.

September 20 – 21.  I will update this site relative to speakers as we get closer to the date.

November 15 – 16.  This will be our “holiday” session.  I will let you all know who the speakers will be when we get closer to this date There will be home made cakes, cookies and other goodies (and I’ll bring some fruit so we all stay at least a little healthy).

There are some new and exciting things happening in our quest for freedom and I will forward emails concerning some of these things as they reach my desk.

As always, if you have questions or if you need assistance on something, I probably cannot give you the help you need – but I can almost always point you in the right direction.

I have had a request last month that I could not assist with – one person needs someone that can remove judgments – so if you can do this, please contact me – and if there are others that I did not get back in touch with – just let me know.  The email can be found on this web site.

Also, soon there will be a Table of Contents for the paperwork on this site added – along with complete instructions – however, this does not eliminate the requirement for a sponsor.

There were a few changes made to our procedures.  The donation for declaring your status and having that status paperwork signed by five witnesses is $60.00, with a $20.00 fee if you want Sami to do the three week publication of the status change...if the paperwork is turned into the court notarial no later than noon on Saturday of the meeting weekend.  Paperwork turned in after Saturday noon will require a donation of  $120.00.  This is an attempt to expedite this portion of our meeting so that more can be learned each time.

PAPERWORK -  from here you can complete it yourselves - but it must be emailed to your sponsor at least 10 (ten) days prior to the meeting you plan to attend for your status change to be witnessed.  Your sponsor will then get the paperwork to me seven (7) days in advance to make sure everything is as it should be.   If the paperwork has to be corrected by the court staff on the weekend of the meeting (and we offer this to those that are coming from out of town because we know the trip is expensive) there will be a $50.00 charge to cover supplies and time expended.

THEN:  You must bring with you three copies of your paperwork.  It's also a good idea to have this paperwork on a thumb drive in your possession when you arrive at the meeting.

If you have questions just contact me at samuelav@hotmail.com and I will do my best to direct you to someone that can give you an intelligent answer.   Sami - Court Clerk

NEW EDUCATIONAL AND SELF-HELP OPPORTUNITY:
In the day and times we live in, no one wants to “go to court”, it is just much easier to pay the fine or make it go away some other way. For those of you who have found yourself in a position in which you are required to go to court, come and join us as we begin our new “moot court” sessions, that started during our October 2006 meeting. We will be using realistic courtroom settings, re-enacting real cases, and touching the basics of defenses, questioning, status, and much more. We invite you to attend and participate. Having a little practice can make a lot of difference in how you handle your affairs. We will be having at least a half day session in moot court.

"Sam Davis now has an informative, educational web site - professionally sharing his years of education on history and its ever-changing face. If you can handle the truth, and would like to find a path worth following, simply click http://www.statusisfreedom.com and become enlightened. This is especially good for those who have just come to the fork in the road and are not sure what path to take."
